Walk-In Clinic Services

General Services:

  • Family Medicine: Chronic condition management, wellness & preventive care, sick notes, immunizations, TB testing (for school/work), prenatal care, driver’s medical/insurance forms, and more.
  • Minor Procedures: Joint & soft tissue injections (e.g., knee, shoulder), skin tag/wart removal, laceration repair, foreign body removal, minor surgery.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Rapid strep testing, urinalysis, pregnancy tests, and TB skin testing for school/work.
  • Therapeutic Services: Flu shots, smoking cessation, weight loss counseling, and prescription renewals. Travel immunizations and consultations (non-OHIP).
  • Physicals: Full physical exams for both men and women, including PAP tests, Ministry of Transportation (MOT) driver’s physicals, and third-party physicals.
  • Specialist Referrals: Referrals for medical, surgical, pediatric, psychiatric specialists, as well as paramedical professionals (audiologists, optometrists, psychologists, etc.).

Services and Pricing for Uninsured Patients

(Note: Not covered by OHIP)

  • Visit Fees:
    • No Health Card or Expired Card Visit: $100
    • Back to Work/Sick Notes: $30
    • University-specific Sick Notes (VIF): $40
    • TB Test for Work (Injection/Step): $60
    • TB Test for Work (Reading; No HC): $100
  • Forms:
    • Massage/Orthotics Referral: $30
    • Immunization Record Forms (Work/School): $75
    • Employment Insurance/Sick Benefits FAF: $160
  • Medical Examinations:
    • Driver’s Medical: $160
    • Fitness Medical (Athletes): $160
    • Pre-Employment Fitness Exam: $160
    • Insurance Examination: $300
  • Procedures:
    • Pap Test (Uninsured): $72
    • Skin Tag/Wart Removal: $25–$200

Additional Services

  • Immunizations and Injections: Publicly funded vaccinations for children & adults, including TB skin testing. Travel immunizations and consultations for non-OHIP patients.
  • Smoking Cessation Counseling: Free visits for patients looking to quit smoking.
  • Sick Notes: Available for various institutions (University of Waterloo, Laurier, Guelph, McMaster, Conestoga College, etc.). Sick notes are not covered by OHIP.
  • Pre-Employment and Ministry of Transportation Physicals: Full physicals required for employment or driving certification (not OHIP-covered).

Clinical Assessments

  • Andropause, Erectile Dysfunction, and Sexual Health: Assessments and treatment options available.
  • Chronic/Stable Medical Conditions: Includes metabolic syndromes, allergies, and stable conditions that are non-life-threatening.
  • Mental Health: Assessments for mental health concerns.
  • Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Assessments: Post-accident evaluations and treatment.
  • Well-Baby Visits: Routine checkups and vaccinations.
  • Well-Female Exams: PAP tests, mammograms, and bone density screenings.

On-Site Services

  • Laboratory & Diagnostic Services: Full-service lab, rapid strep testing, urinalysis, pregnancy tests, and cardiac testing.
  • Fracture Management: Non-operative fracture care, including an on-site casting suite.
  • Burn Management & Laceration Repair: Immediate care for burns and wounds.

Specialty Services

  • Travel Consultations and Immunizations: Advice and vaccinations based on your travel destination. Not covered by OHIP.
  • Minor Procedures: Including injections (e.g., allergy, B12, Depo-Provera), wart treatments (liquid nitrogen), and laceration repair.
  • On-Site Pharmacy: Convenient prescription renewals and consultations.

Insurance & Administrative Services

  • Insurance Forms & Referrals: Insurance documentation and referrals for acupuncture, chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, sports medicine, and more.
  • Specialist Referrals: Comprehensive referral service to a variety of medical specialists.
  • Work-Related Documentation: Including WSIB forms, return-to-work notes, and work-related health assessments.

Important Notes:

  • Many of the specialized services (e.g., travel consultations, TB testing for third-party physicals) are not covered by OHIP.
  • Uninsured patients are required to pay for services directly, and prices vary depending on the procedure or form requested.
